abstract & dimensional work
about
Bio
I was born in Chicago, Illinois, spent the majority of my life in Corry, Pennsylvania, and moved to Indianapolis in 2007. I graduated in 1984 from the Art Institute of Colorado with an Associates Degree in Advertising Design. I pursued a very diverse freelance career from 1976 to 2007, doing commissioned work for: private individuals, small businesses, corporations, schools, churches, magazines, newspapers, and municipalities. The scope of work included logo design and business identity; portraiture; graphics; murals; landscapes; wildlife; illustrations; signage; floor, construction, and renovation plans; cartography; drafting and technical drawings; wall texturing and faux finishes; ad design; airbrush illustrations; and typography.

Since moving from Pennsylvania to Indianapolis, I have been focusing on creative endeavors that interest me in a more personal way, rather than attempting to restart a career based largely upon commissioned artwork.

Statement
Speaking from a somewhat deep and soulful perspective, I see my artwork as a tangible extension of my very self, my principles, my perceptions, and my intentions of the heart.

My artistic goals are to produce work that immediately grabs someone's attention-works that can be contemplated repeatedly and that invite viewers to meditate on something as simple as a nuance of color variation or a particularly graceful line.
